National Breast Pathology Interpretive External QA Scheme
What to expect?
The management team of the Breast Pathology EQA scheme is committed to improving diagnostic concordance among breast pathologists with the aim of improving patient care.
Carefully selected and curated exemplar histopathology slides are circulated around participants for examination and reporting. Subsequent information feedback provides scheme participants with the function of personal performance appraisal, producing reports and feedback intended to support both day to day practice and continual professional development.

The EQA scheme provides a mechanism for the examination and monitoring of concordance of breast pathology reporting within the UK.
